A Little Old School

So for today's look I wanted to try something a little out of my comfort
zone. I've seen so many people following this trend of tying flannels around
their waist but never actually decided to give it a try, until this outfit popped
into my head a few days ago. I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out, although
I originally had in mind wearing it with boyfriend jeans, but it was way too cold
to wear my cropped ones. let's just say I kept running in and out of the house
to try to stay as warm as possible, holy crap was it cold! I am over this weather
and all the snow, so looking forward to spring and enjoyable warmer days.

On another note, I wanted to talk about my recent love for mens shirts.
Its funny how they seem to keep growing and growing, both shirts in this
outfit are mens and both are super comfy and soft which is what I look
for when shopping. What do you think, would you ever wear mens clothing
or do you think its a definate no?

Winter Uniform

Today's look consist of what I like to call my winter uniform, this is what
you will find me wearing pretty much 80% of the time. Nothing beats
a simple yet put together look for those days you're running late or just
feel like wearing something comfy yet chic.
I also wanted to point out how proud I am of myself for not being shy while
shooting these pictures. There was quite a few people driving by and
walking, but I didn't chicken out and move somewhere less populated :)

Messy Buns & Button Ups

I've always been a fan of the button up shirt under a sweater type of look,
I think they give any outfit this preppy put together look. But when it comes to
actually wearing it myself, I never seemed to pull it off. The other day
I decided to give it a try while getting ready and actually liked how it
turned out. what do you so???

P.S. please ignore my messy bun, the wind didn't seem to like it when it
looked nice and perfect. I'm also still learning the tricks to the baby
(camera) so bare with me and the not so great (focused) pictures.

I know this one is not focused but something about this picture makes
me really like it!

Have a nice day, thanks for reading!
